TAKE THE PLUNGE!
Winter in Pittsburgh means even greater need for home repairs for the city's most vulnerable homeowners. Why not get a group together and check out our One Day Plunges, one of our Weekend Retreats this Spring, or a summer Service Camp? Come make a difference for an elderly homeowner! Contact Amy Cornelius with questions.
GREAT MINDS
As we prepare for the Spring semester in our afterschool program, we reflect on the great minds God has given the kids of our neighborhood. We are also blessed to have a wonderful team of volunteer tutors who support healthy learning and living in these kids' lives.
If you love kids and love to have fun, why not check out this awesome opportunity to experience some great minds? You can download our Volunteer Tutor Fact Sheet, or contact Virginia Giles at 412-321-1678 x134. Thanks for being a blessing!
GET REAL!
We are very excited to announce our employment opportunities for the summer of 2012. Every summer our beautiful corner of this great city becomes more alive than ever. Our park and school building overflow with sounds of kids from the community learning and growing as a part of our three-fold summer camp program. The guest house and sanctuary are overwhelmed by the thousands of young people that come from near and far to perform free home repair to our city's most vulnerable homeowners. And our urban farm spills over the bounty of fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables while the swimming pool splashes with the gleeful sounds of summer.
You can be part of the action. If you want to serve God in the inner city, be stretched in your faith, and use your gifts to bless the world this summer, then think about coming to join our team! For a complete list of positions available and the necessary application, see the jobs section at the top of our site.
