As part of our Urban Farming Initiative, we operate the Charles Street Farmers Market, a great place to buy locally grown fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Much of the produce is grown in our gardens by staff and students, and other items are supplied by farmers around the region through a partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. What a great way to make our neighborhood a more delicious place!
SCHEDULE: Every Thursday, from June 11 to November 12, 2009.
HOURS: We're open from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
LOCATION: Right across from our main building, near Fowler Park and Pool. Directions and Map are available.
