Charles Street Farmers' Market
As part of our Urban Farming Initiative, we operate the Charles Street Farmers Market, a great place to buy locally grown fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers each week during the growing season. Much of the produce is grown at our Lots of Hope Farm, a formerly abandoned baseball field, by staff and students. Other items are supplied by farmers around the region through a partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. What a great way to make our neighborhood a more delicious place!
SCHEDULE: Every Thursday, from June to November.
HOURS: We're open from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
LOCATION: Right across from our main building, near Fowler Park and Pool. Directions and Map are available.
WE ACCEPT: Cash, EBT, WIC, and Senior FMNP. Please, no checks or credit cards.
