We currently have a wide array of open SUMMER STAFF POSITIONS for 2008, including jobs focused on teaching and discipling urban young people,  positions serving vulnerable homeowners, jobs ministering to short-term mission trip participants, positions supplying "behind-the-scenes" support across our programs, specialty jobs requiring computer, music, or video skills, positions in our kitchen or cafe, and jobs running our neighborhood pool (including lifeguards).  We'll hire dozens of people, including neighbors, college students, teachers, grad students, and retirees.  The summer season is fast-paced, exciting, and ripe for ministry opportunities.  We  train you for a full week or more, provide meals while programs are in session, and free housing if you need it.  Possible internship credit, a taste of community life, vibrant worship, and scores of new friends are all at hand.  Please download the 2008 Summer Staff Position Overview and Application for more information.

TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE responsible for organization-wide network configuration, maintanance, upgrades, accounts, and backups, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of all computer hardware, software, and accessories, setup, programming, and deploying of telephone systems, troubleshooting all systems and training staff on using technology resources to meet program goals.  This person is  will oversee all aspects of technology planning, solutions, and purchases, and will manage consultants when necessary, and a budget.  A current census of computers includes over 100 workstations for nearly 60 salaried and hourly staff, plus labs for program participants.   At the heart of this position is the responsibility to see that The Pittsburgh Project’s staff and programs are operating with excellent technology resources.
